Flags at half-staff to honor West Michigan soldier
MICHIGAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – U.S. flags were flying at half-staff across Michigan on Monday to honor a West Michigan soldier killed in Afghanistan.
Sergeant Daniel Frazier graduated from St. Joseph High School in 2003.
Sergeant Frazier and another soldier died earlier in November when they stopped a suicide bomber trying to attack their patrol.
Frazier's funeral was Monday morning at the Michiana-Christian Embassy in Niles. Frazier will be buried with full military honors in Arlington National Cemetery.
