Million dollars to create apprenticeship program

LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A million dollars in stimulus money is going to help get folks in Michigan started on new careers.

 

The money will be used to create an apprenticeship pilot program.

 

The program will sponsor 1,000 new apprentices in a number of different fields. The program starts this August.
