MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Deputies from the Montcalm County Sheriff's Office are investigating a crash between a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

The incident occurred Thursday morning around 7:57 am, on M-91 near Pine Drive in Montcalm Township.

Investigators say that David Michael Soule, a 59-year-old man from Greenville, was headed north on M-91 on his Harley Davidson when a southbound truck, driven by 47-year-old Cherie Lynn Wood of Greenville, attempted to turn left from M-91 into a parking lot.

Wood struck the motorcycle in the left side, in the area of the driver's leg.

Soule was transported to Spectrum in Greenville and later to Spectrum in Grand Rapids by Aero Med. Wood was unharmed in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
