Motorcyclist Loses Consciousness and Crashes

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Witnesses say Steven D. Lewis suddenly slumped over the handlebars of his Harley Davidson.

 

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department reports it happened around 1p.m. Saturday on Augusta Drive west of 44th Street in Ross Township.

 

His passenger, Denise Lewis, tried to take control but was unable. The cycle ran off the road, into a ditch, and then fell on its side hitting some small trees.

 

Both were wearing their helmets. The two were taken to the hospital where they were treated and released.
