ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A murder suspect is due in court Tuesday in Allegan County.

Police caught up with Van Buren Hutchinson on Friday in northern Indiana. He was arrested just hours after investigators named him as a suspect in a murder that happened in 1993.

A fisherman found a woman's body in the Kalamazoo River in a remote part of the Allegan State Game Area back in the spring of 1993. That woman had been reported missing from the Chicago area a few months earlier.

Hutchinson is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday, and we should soon learn more about how investigators are linking him to the murder.
