Cell-mate testifies 'he did it'

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The trial continues for a former Kent County man accused of murdering his wife and dumping her body.
Prosecutors say Timothy Dawson strangled his wife Julia at their Sparta home back in 2004.
Reports say that convicted killer Marvin Snyder took the stand Wednesday. Back in February Snyder shared a cell with fellow convicted murder Jeffrey VanVels and Dawson.
Snyder testified Dawson admitted to him that he killed his wife.
He said Dawson even talked about cleaning the carpet with bleach to cover up the crime.
Testimony in the trial is scheduled to resume on Monday.
