Second Muskegon Co. fatality involving H1N1
MUSKEGON, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Health officials in Muskegon County say that a second person has died after contracting the H1N1 flu virus.
A 58-year-old man from Muskegon County is the second person to die after getting the virus.
"Our sincere condolences are extended to the family at this difficult time," said Ken Kraus, Health Officer for Public Health in Muskegon County. "We encourage everyone to continue to practice preventive methods and to consider taking the vaccine as it becomes more available. If you or a loved one does become ill, seek immediate medical care if life threatening symptoms occur."
