Swing sets recalled
Comments 0 | Recommend 0(NEWSCHANNEL 3) – There is a news alert for parents regarding the recall of tens of thousands of swing sets.
The swing sets in question are called "Adventure Wooden Playsets."
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says it's received 1,400 reports of ladders rotting and children falling.
Sixteen kids were hurt. Nine of the injuries were bad enough to send the children to the emergency room.
The playsets sold at Wal-Mart, Toys 'r Us, and Menards stores from January 2004 to December 2007.
