Days of overdraft fees could be over

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The days of overdraft fees may soon be over.
The Federal Reserve has issued a new rule that says a bank can't charge you an overdraft fee unless you allow it.
You would have to approve for your bank to cover overdrafts or those transactions would just be denied.
The new rule takes effect July first.
