Father arrested after child dies
WYOMING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Police in Wyoming have arrested a man who is accused of the death of his baby girl.
Police say that they were called to Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus on Thursday, November 19. A four-month-old baby girl was in critical condition and child abuse was suspected.
The girl died on Saturday, November 21.
The Kent County Prosecutor's Office has brought manslaughter charges against the girl's father. He is currently being held in the Kent County Correctional Facility.
