EPA holding two meetings to discuss Kalamazoo River clean-up

WEST MICHIGAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – The Environmental Protection Agency has scheduled two public meetings to talk about some Kalamazoo River clean-up projects.

 

On Tuesday night, the EPA will hold a meeting at the Comfort Inn in Plainwell at 6:30 pm.

 

On Thursday, a meeting will be held in Kalamazoo at the Radisson Plaza Hotel.

 

The Plainwell meeting will cover efforts to clean up the river at the old Plainwell Paper Mill. Thursday's meeting in Kalamazoo will cover the Allied Paper / Portage Creek Superfund project.

 

Both of the meetings are open to the public.
