Car found in kidnapping case

ALMENA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – There is an update on a kidnapping investigation from last week.

Police say they've found the car involved, but they're still looking for the suspect.

Friday a woman called 911 and said a man tied her up, took her from her home in Almena Township, stole her purse and left her in the woods.

Tuesday investigators say they found the car on some property about two or three miles from where the woman was left.

They're going through it Tuesday afternoon looking for evidence.

So far though, there is still no sign of the suspect.
