Michigan Mom Charged With Killing Son

WILMINGTON, N.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police say a Michigan woman is behind bars in North Carolina for killing her son.

 

Maegan Stuhan, 18, of Grand Haven faces first degree murder and child abuse charges in the death of her infant son Logan VanDyke.

 

The 4-month-old baby died in a Wilmington, North Carolina hospital Friday. Police are still investigating to determine just how the baby died, put they say that Stuhan had confessed to abusing the child.

 

Relatives tell the CBS station in Raleigh, North Carolina that 4-month-old Logan will be flown back to West Michigan this week for his funeral.
