Learn the ins and outs of chicken coops

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - You can learn how to run a hen house in your own backyard Monday.
You may not know this, but many cities, including Kalamazoo, allow you to have hens in your yard.
Monday night a woman from Paw Paw who has been raising chickens for seven years will give a presentation on how to set up a chicken coop and care for the animals.
A local lawyer will also discuss the rules you have to follow.
That presentation starts Monday night at 6:30 at the Kalamazoo Public Library.
