Oven recalled

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Before you cook that Thanksgiving turkey, you'll need to check your oven.

General Electric is recalling 244,000 wall ovens because of fire and burn hazards. The company says the problem is with the door during the self-clean cycle.

It's received more than two dozen damage reports involving kitchen cabinets, but no serious injuries.

The recall involves Kenmore, Monogram and GE Profile brands. They were sold between October 2002 and December 2004.
