Two parties before summer break ends

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - We're just over a week away from the start of the school year.

Grand Rapids Public Schools want to make sure kids have some more fun before summer break ends.

It's hosting another Park Party Monday.

Kids and their parents can head out to Aberdeen Park for some free food as well as games, raffles and school supply giveaways.

There will also be informational booths set up so you can get information about the different programs at GRPS.

Monday's Park Party is from 4:00 to 7:00. There's another one Tuesday at Lincoln Park.
