Man confesses to drunk crash that injured deputy

PAW PAW, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Dowagiac man has confessed to a drunk driving crash that injured a Van Buren County deputy.
Brad Schoetzow pleaded guilty on Friday to OWI causing serious injury.
The crash happened back in July.
Investigators say he slammed his car into Deputy Matt Konkle after Konkle had pulled over another driver.
Deputy Konkle got pinned between Schoetzow's car and his patrol car but only suffered minor injuries.
Schoetzow will be sentenced next month.
