Grand Rapids man shot in the shoulder

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A man was shot in the shoulder Saturday morning by an unknown person.
It happened around 2 am near Ionia Avenue and Canton Street.
The victim, a 29-year-old black male told police he did not know who had shot him. Police also say the man was being uncooperative.
He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for the gunshot wound in his left shoulder, police say that his injuries are non-life threatening.
Police do not have anyone in custody and are still investigating this incident.
