Portage coach faces charges of driving while intoxicated
PORTAGE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – A Portage football coach and physical education teacher is facing charges of driving while intoxicated.
Coach Brett Foerster was arraigned on Monday, he pleaded not guilty.
Portage schools say Foerster reported the arrest to them over the weekend.
Based on what officials currently know, they do not expect the arrest to impact his teaching or coaching duties.
Foerster is due back in court for a pretrial hearing on August 20th.
