Chihuahua blown away in strong winds, pet psychic comes to the rescue

DETROIT (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - You've heard the phrase raining cats and dogs.

Well, some people in the Detroit area dealt with a storm of a different kind.

Fierce winds blew through Oakland County, snapping trees in half and tossing them onto homes and cars.

And while a tornado did not touch down, a chihuahua did.

A couple took their pet chihuahua Tinker Bell to a flea market Saturday. She was standing on a table when a gust of wind literally swept the six pound puppy away.

The owners got in touch with a pet psychic to try and find little Tinker Bell.

It actually worked.

The psychic guided them to some woods about a mile from where the dog disappeared and she was there, safe and sound.
