Police searching for man who drove car into Richland home

RICHLAND, Mich. (Newschannel 3) - Kalamazoo Co. Sheriff's deputies are searching for a driver who smashed his car into a home in Richland on Friday night.
Sheriffs officials say that around 7 p.m., the driver lost control of his car and barreled into a home on N. 27th Street.
The homeowner was home at the time of the accident, but he wasn't injured.
Once his car was lodged into the home, the driver took off from the scene of the accident, and police haven't been able to find him.
Officers tell Newschannel 3 that they think he also stole some beer from a local store before getting in the the accident.
