Passenger Falls Out of Truck and Gets Run Over
ALLENDALE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Fennville woman is in critical condition after falling out of a moving vehicle and getting run over.
The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department says it happened around 12:45 a.m. Sunday on Buchanan Street near 92nd Avenue. Police say Gabe Tagg, 35, of Allendale Township was heading eastbound on Buchanan Street. Tagg's front seat passenger, Rana Rimbey, 33, of Fennville opened up the car door and fell out. Then she was run over by the back tires of the truck.
Tagg got her back in the vehicle and rushed her to the hospital.
Police got a call from the hospital around 1:30 a.m. claiming they were treating a woman who was run over. Police headed to the scene and found evidence of the accident.
Right now the accident is still under investigation. Police are asking anyone who knows anything to call the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department or Silent Observer.
