Funeral services for teacher
MARSHALL, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Services will be heald Friday afternoon for the West Michigan teacher killed earlier this week by a suspected drunk driver.
A visitation for Aaron Haynes will be held at Kempf Funeral Home in Marshall from 2:00 until 4:00 and then from 6:00 to 8:00. His funeral is at 11 o'clock Saturday morning.
Haynes taught in the Greeneville Public School District.
Police say Leonel Franco-Avina was driving the car that slammed into Haynes. He's now charged with second degree murder and DWI causing death.
Detectives tell us his blood alcohol level was more than five times the legal limit that morning.
He also didn't have a driver's license.
