Church deacon charged with criminal sexual conduct
Comments 0 | Recommend 0KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A deacon at an area church has been charged with criminal sexual conduct.
Police say that Marc Alan Boyer has now been relieved of his duties as deacon at Fulton Christian Church in Kalamazoo County, near Vicksburg.
Boyer is accused of inappropriately touching two teenage babysitters who cared for his children.
The church's pastor told Newschannel 3 that Boyer and his wife also counseled young people at the church on Wednesday evening.
Boyer is scheduled for trial in December.
