Back to jail for meeting teen girl
KENT COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The man accused of sexually assaulting two young girls inside a local high school is going back to jail after a judge revoked his bond Monday morning.
Wyoming police say Kenneth Hoskins was with one of his 16-year-old victims at a local motel. That's against the rules of his bond.
An officer responded to a tip from Grand Rapids police that Hoskins might be with his alleged victim at the Brikrete Hotel in Wyoming.
The officer found Hoskins there and was allowed into the room by him. Moments later the officer says he found the girl in question hiding behind a shower curtain.
It's the same girl prosecutors say Hoskins coerced into sex at Central High School.
A judge believed the testimony of the officer and told Hoskins he forfeited a $50,000 bond. His bond was raised to $250,000.
Family members of the 16-year-old girl say Hoskins is a predator and should go to prison for luring the young girl into an on-going relationship.
Hoskins' attorney told Newschannel 3 it's unlikely he'll be bailed out this time. His trial will begin in January.
