The dangers of drinking/bathing in arsenic tainted water

FENNVILLE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - People exposed to tainted water in Allegan County will learn more about health risks Monday.

Harmful levels of arsenic turned up in wells around Fennville. Residents believe it's run-off from the Birds Eye Foods plant, but the company denies responsibility.

A local doctor will talk about the risks that come with drinking and bathing in that water Monday.

The meeting is at 6:30 at the Fennville District Library.

Later this month, famed Attorney Erin Brockovich plans to meet with neighbors about a possible class-action lawsuit connected to the contamination.
