Three in jail after drug bust
SHERWOOD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Three adults are in jail and four children have been taken out of their home after deputies discovered drugs inside of a home.
Branch County Sheriff's Deputies went to the house at 3093 Wheatfield Drive around 12:15 am Saturday on an investigative tip.
When deputies arrived at the home after serving a search warrant, they found that three adults- a male and two females- and four children were inside.
After searching further, deputies found a camp fuel can containing suspected methamphetamine oil and one of the adult females had meth and a meth pipe on her. Deputies also found a small amount of marijuana in the house.
The children were medically examined at a local hospital. Deputies called Children's Protective Services and the children are now staying with other family member.
All three adults have been arrested on charges from the search.
