FENNVILLE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A toddler drowned in Hutchins Lake near Fennville Friday.

Allegan County Sheriff's Office says they got a report of a drowning around 8:05 p.m. Friday.

When police arrived they found an 18-month-old girl from Zeeland unresponsive. She was at her grandparents' home. Her parents were also there with her.

Neighbors and police performed CPR until an ambulance could arrive. An automated external defibrillator or AED was also administered, however the child could not be saved.

Police are still investigating the details but say that they aren't looking to file any charges at this time.
