Motorcyclist may face charges after losing control of his bike Tuesday night
Comments 0 | Recommend 0CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – A 33-year-old Quincy man may face criminal charges after an accident on a motorcycle.
Deputies from the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office say they were dispatched to a personal injury accident Tuesday on Oak Grove Road near J. Drive South in the Township of Newton.
Deputies found that a motorcycle traveling southbound on Oak Grove had lost control.
The 33-year-old driver was transported to Oaklawn Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies say the motorcyclist was found to have a suspended operator's license, no helmet, no proof of insurance, no cycle endorsement, and an unregistered vehicle.
Deputies say alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident.
The motorcyclist's name is being withheld, pending criminal charges.
