CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – A 33-year-old Quincy man may face criminal charges after an accident on a motorcycle.

Deputies from the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office say they were dispatched to a personal injury accident Tuesday on Oak Grove Road near J. Drive South in the Township of Newton.

Deputies found that a motorcycle traveling southbound on Oak Grove had lost control.

The 33-year-old driver was transported to Oaklawn Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies say the motorcyclist was found to have a suspended operator's license, no helmet, no proof of insurance, no cycle endorsement, and an unregistered vehicle.

Deputies say alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident.
