Wayland Schools hires new superintendent
WAYLAND, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – They Wayland School district has put new leadership into place.
On Monday night the Wayland Union School Board approved the hiring of Norman Taylor as the new superintendent.
Taylor was the former superintendent of Northview Public Schools. He will start in his new position as soon as possible.
Taylor is replacing previous superintendent Eivor Swan who announced her retirement in the spring after six years running the district.
Swan had come under pressure from many parents who were unhappy with the way she'd handled emergencies.
