MARSHALL, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The family of a missing Marshall woman prepares to remember a painful anniversary.

Five years ago today, Mary Lands left her apartment on a walk and never returned.

Her family recently increased the reward for information to help solve the mystery of her disappearance. The Michigan Attorney General's office also recently entered into the investigation.

Mary's body has never been found and no arrests have been made.

Friends and family will gather at Brooks Memorial Fountain in Marshall Thursday at noon for a vigil in Mary's honor.
