KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Tonight, we want you to meet a very special boy--a student at Kalamazoo's Woodward Elementary with a big smile and a big favor to ask.

He's looking for a mentor--a big brother to spend time with him and guide him along the right path in life.

8-year-old Khamari Coleman is all smiles and all boy.

He loves to jump and swing and climb and play, and so far, he says his summer has been great.

He and his five siblings have been playing "in the waterholes and the barbecues."

"I like to go to the park and play with my brothers and sisters," Khamari said.

Like a lot of kids his age, he loves football and basketball; he wants to be a police officer, and he's good at math and science.

But Khamari really wants a big brother--someone to pal around with and pay attention to only him.

For more information about Khamari or Big Brothers Big Sisters, call the agency at (269)382-6800.
