8-year-old from Nebraska lives his super hero dream story image
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - An 8-year-old from Nebraska is living his dream by flying like his favorite superhero.

Max Vertin--now known as Iron Max--was given a chance to 'jump' high and ride the air dressed as his favorite superhero.

His Iron Man experience was all thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Max suffers from muscular dystrophy, which causes muscular degeneration.

For one day, he and his two younger brothers--who also suffer from the disease--were able to float in 100 mile per hour winds in a skydiving simulator.
