NEW JERSEY (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Good people--not to mention good tippers--do exist.

New Jersey bartender Christina Summitt says she was chatting with a couple about dogs when the man asked her if she had any of her own.

She revealed her dog Tucker just had emergency surgery after swallowing a plastic ball, costing her about $2,700.

To her surprise, the man left her a $1,000 tip.

Summitt told the man she couldn't accept the money, but he said he would be honored to help pay for her dog's surgery.
