Educators to rally for school funding

LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Education lobbyists aren't ready to give up the fight for school funding.
A memo went out Monday asking educators to turn up the heat on lawmakers by rallying next Monday in Lansing.
It's part of an "SOS" campaign aiming to "save our schools" and restore the funding cuts.
Even deeper cuts could be on the horizon in Lansing.
Governor Granholm wants state department heads to trim 20-percent from their current budgets for the upcoming fiscal year.
