3-Wheeler Smashes Into Motorcyclist
Comments 0 | Recommend 0SAND LAKE (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Two people are in the hospital after a serious accident. Police say the accident happened on 21 Mile Road and Harvard Ave. NE around 10:28a.m. Saturday.
Mykel Stephen Bradley, 17, of Sand Lake was stopped at a stop sign while on an off road vehicle three wheeler on Harvard Ave. NE. He quickly proceeded through the intersection into the path of a 2007 Harley Davidson driven by Debra Devella Elderkin, 58, of Sand Lake.
Bradley was not wearing a helmet during the collision but Debra was. Both drivers were thrown from their vehicles.
Bradley was taken to the hospital with lacerations, head and leg pain. Elderkin was flown to the hospital with numerous broken bone,s lacerations and possible internal injuries.
Police say Elderkin had the right of way and the whole thing was witnessed by her husband who was traveling behind her.
