In fact, temperatures are in the upper 50s in Chicago! So, our still chilly middle 40s will rebound nicely by the time you drive home from work. High School football is in round two of the playoffs and in great shape for kickoff. Temperatures will be in the middle 40s for most of the game and it will be breezy.
These breezes go nowhere overnight and neither will our temperatures, probably bottoming out in the evening before rising slightly by tomorrow morning. Plan on another deck of clouds arriving tonight and sticking around for a good chunk of your Saturday. Temperatures won't back down in spite of a lack of sun and rise to near 60 degrees.
The pace of next week's system is quicker than previously advertised, which means an initially sunny Sunday will be rivaled by yet more clouds before the day is out. Still, we'll be around 60 if not the lower 60s. This now quicker system will drop a few showers on West Michigan Sunday night and Monday. Earlier, we were thinking this would be more so confined to Tuesday. The speed changes are on the order of about a day; the payoff being nice and quiet weather with ample sun Tuesday and beyond.
Have a wonderful rest of your Friday and weekend!
