Teen hit by school bus

ALLEGAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - At 7:25 Wednesday morning a 17-year-old girl was hit by a school bus full of children in Allegan.
The Allegan Police Chief told us that the girl was walking southbound on Sherman Street near Western Avenue when she was hit. The girl was wearing dark clothing, making her difficult to see.
She was not seriously injured in the accident, although she suffered some minor abrasions and stiffness. An ambulance took her to a hospital for observation.
The school bus driver was not cited in the incident.
