Three teens injured in rollover
Comments 0 | Recommend 0ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Crews have re-opened Fruit Ridge Avenue in Alpine Township.
They cleared the scene of a serious crash involving an SUV and a tree.
In addition to one victim air-lifted to the hospital, two others were taken there by ambulance.
When police arrived the two front seat passengers were pinned in the vehicle. The 19 year old in the rear seat had minor injuries.
The two people in the front seat were extricated by emergency responders. The 19-year-old driver from Sparta was flown to the hospital with possible internal injuries and extensive injures to their right leg.
The 17-year-old front seat passenger from Sparta had a broken leg and a lacerated liver.
Alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
