Report: No Worker Left Behind program successful
LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A new report has found nearly three out of four graduates of Michigan's No Worker Left Behind program are back on the job. That's close to 25,000 people.
Only about 9,600 or 28-percent of participants are still looking for work.
The program started in August 2007 and the government tallied up the progress in February.
Governor Granholm is expected to talk about the results in more detail during a meeting Monday in Dearborn.
