Body Found in Lake Michigan

VAN BUREN COUNTY (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Officials in Van Buren County say they have found the body of a white male along the shores of Lake Michigan. It was found in a gated community known as "Wilderness Dunes" within Covert Township. A child found the body around 5:30pm on Sunday, June 29.

Officials have not declared the man's identity; however, witnesses who saw the body think it could be that of 27-year-old Robert Hosty, Jr.

Hosty is a Chicago-area Public School teacher who went missing back on June 16th of this year. Hosty was last seen at his parent's lakefront home on the outskirts of Coloma. The body found today was located only five and a half miles away from that home.
