Burglar falls asleep on victim's couch

COMSTOCK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A man is in custody after deputies say he broke into a Kalamazoo County home, grabbed several items to steal and then fell asleep on the homeowners couch.

This happened at a house on 26^th Street in Comstock.

The homeowner says she came home around 11:30 Sunday morning and there he was, snoozing away on the sofa.

She says the house was ransacked and a back window was damaged and open.

A lot of her electronic equipment was stacked outside, but instead of throwing it in his car and taking off, he took a nap.

Deputies showed up and arrested the guy.
