Two Burned In Suspected Meth Lab Explosion

BRANCH COUNTY (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - In Branch County Saturday two men were airlifted to the hospital with serious burns following an explosion of a suspected meth lab.

Michigan state police say the explosion occurred at 1085 Trayer road southwest of the community of Bronson. Police have searched the area for narcotics and are waiting for the test results.

One of the burned men was a resident there the other was from St. Joseph, in Berrien County.

Police say the men have 2nd and 3rd degree burns. They're in intensive care at the Bronson Methodist hospital burn unit in Kalamazoo.
