DECATUR (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Decatur-Hamilton Fire Department battled a house fire on 82nd Avenue near Burgess Road.

They got the call around 7:20 Thursday morning.

Crews on the scene said the home was engulfed in flames when they arrrived.

They believe the house was abandoned and say no one was hurt.
