Residents voice concerns again over proposed truck stop development

NEAR SAUGATUCK (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The "Laketown Alliance for Neighborly Development" group was out in force at Wednesday night's meeting concerning the development of a proposed truck stop.

In March, plans for the truck stop were tabled. But now, the board is going to research whether the developer can legally extend its application for a special use permit in order to proceed with the project.

The board also discussed placing a moratorium on development along Blue Star Highway for six months.
