Sturgis ER Doctor Convicted on Sexual Assault And Drug Charges

ST. JOSEPH CO. (Newschannel 3) - A Sturgis emergency room doctor has been found guilty on a long list of charges.

That doctor, Terrence Whiteman, was on trial for sexually assualting some of his patients and writing perscriptions for people who didn't need them.

During his trial, witnesses testified that he groped them inside medical examination rooms, and wrote prescriptions for people who didn't need them.

Whiteman was convicted on Thursday on several charges, including Criminal Sexual Conduct in the First, Second, Third and Fourth Degree, and Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
