Apple iPad mini released

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The long-awaited Apple iPad Mini is here.
The company revealed the new device, which is about 2/3 the size of the full-size model on Tuesday.
It weighs a little more than half-a-pound and is as thin as a pencil.
Apple will start taking orders for the new model on Friday.
The mini is priced at $329.
