As judge orders mediation, companies show interest in Hostess

Updated: Monday, November 19 2012, 07:01 PM EST
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - It seems Hostess isn't going out of business just yet.

A bankruptcy judge ordered the company to enter mediation with its second-largest union, and attempt to resolve their differences.

In the meantime, there is plenty of speculation about who may buy up the pieces of Hostess.

Some analysts say that Cereal City is a possible destination for the Twinkies brand.

Kellogg recently bought up the Pringles brand, which has done very well for the company.

Kellogg has not commented on the Hostess bankruptcy, but reporters say several companies are interested in scoring a piece of the Hostess pie.
