Big 3 automakers all post gains

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Big Three automakers all have released new sales reports, and numbers for all three are up.
Ford had its best November in 7 years, up 6.5 percent for the month.
The company credits the increase to strong demand for its F-Series pickup truck and its new C-Max hybrid.
General Motors says its sales were up 3 percent in November.
The Buick and Cadillac brands led the increase.
Truck sales dragged the automaker down though, as sales of the Silverado pickup truck fell more than 10 percent.
Chrysler sales are up 14 percent over a year ago.
The Chrysler, Dodge, Ram Truck, and Fiat brands all posted gains.
Chrysler says it's poised for a strong finish to the year, despite the looming fiscal cliff.
