Hollywood credited for boosting job market

LOS ANGELES (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Hollywood is getting credit for helping boost the labor market last month.
The U.S. economy added 236,000 jobs in February, and the film sector accounted for 21,000 of them, according to the Labor Department.
That's a 5 percent employment boost in motion picture and sound jobs in just a month.
Film production jobs tend to increase every February.
But a senior economist at Moody's Analytics says the gains are accelerating and that reflects a broader economic recovery.
